Cerebral Palsy is one of the most common motor disability in childhood. Over 10.000 children is diagnosed by cerebral palsy each year. It is a neurological disorder, that cause physical and mental disability in human development.

The word “cerebral” refers to the brain’s cerebrum, which is the part of the brain that regulates motor function. “Palsy” describes a paralysis of voluntary and involuntary movement in certain body parts.

CP is caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the developing brain that affects a person’s ability to control his or her muscles. Cerebral palsy is a life-long physical disability due to damage of the developing brain.

The solution for a person with cerebral palsy is a lifelong management. The goal is to reach the highest quality of life for the them, and to guide their development in a way that they can live as independent as possible.
